Picks for Nov. 5th Games

Season record moved to 12-12-1 after another 2-2 showing last week.  This week's picks:

Florida -14 at Vanderbilt - Florida finally found a little offense last week against Georgia.  Urban and the Gators have a little confidense on that side of the ball and Vandy's offense is no match for the Gator defense.  Florida has some fun in this one and Urban may even smile on the sidelines.

Missouri -4.5 at Texas Tech - Missouri was in a bad spot last week going to Nebraska after their big win against Oklahoma.  This week, they get the cure in a Texas Tech team who isn't very good on defense and not mediocre on offense.  Amazing how fast the Red Raiders have slipped into mediocrity.  The Tigers win big.

at Kansas State +3.5 Texas - Texas has struggled when they travel to Kansas State and with their overall problems this year, I like the Wildcats to win this game outright.

Tennessee -20 at Memphis - Tennessee isn't a good football team right now but they get a chance to show what might be possible in the future with a trip to the awful Memphis Tigers.  Memphis has given up more than 40 points in 6 of their 7 losses and have lost those six games by at least 22 points. Average score in those losses is 49-12.  Vols get a feel good weekend.
